Whitewater Rafting in PA's Pocono Mountains
Our Whitewater trip is our most popular...It is a wet and wild 13 mile trip that runs through the breathtaking scenery of the Lehigh Gorge State Park. Hang on tight for class II and III whitewater. Experience the thrill of rapids like snaggletooth and cookie monster. With 18 action packed rapids this ultimate whitewater trip is a day to remember and is available everyday in the Spring and Fall plus every other weekend all summer long with scheduled dam release dates. No experience is necessary and children as young as 10 years old can paddle this section of the river.
You will be accompanied by a professional guide who will escort your raft from his kayak. The scenery is spectacular and you might catch a glimpse of a bald eagle soaring overhead or other wildlife grazing along the river banks. One thing's for sure, at the end of the day you'll be dreaming of the day when you can return to the river that we call home. The great thing about this trip is you get to navigate your own raft with your friends and family.

Whitewater rafting on the Lehigh River in the Pocono's begins in March when avid rafters and adventure junkies navigate the big rapids that only spring thaw can deliver. By the end of April the snow pack in the Pocono Mts. has run off and we have moderate flows through the month of May. These natural flows are augmented by Whitewater Dam Releases every other weekend starting on the second weekend of May and taking us all the way into October. Need to cool off in the heat of summer? Check the whitewater release schedule on most pages of this site and you'll have found an excellent alternative to crowded boardwalks and amusement parks. This is a place where you can enjoy a hot summer day on the water without standing in lines.
